Back in October I wrote about a project I was involved in. ContentCaboodle.com, an article content directory that would pay authors for submitting their quality articles. I thought it was a great way for both freelance writers and article marketers to gain more exposure and add another stream of revenue to their article writing efforts.
The problem with a project like this is obviously getting off the starting line. A content directory requires content to get any respect or love from search engines and readers… but without readers or search engine respect in place it’s hard to get authors to submit their quality writings. It’s a total catch-22 situation.
However, I’m happy to say that with a lot of hard work by everyone involved in the project ContentCaboodle.com is looking like a big hit already.
The 3 major search engines are all hitting it hard, articles from the directory are being indexed fast and ranking high; plus both reader and author participation levels are increasing daily.
Anyway, this is a short posting just because I’m happy about how this site has performed, am excited for its future and darn it… I just felt like tooting my own horn a little bit today. Hope you don’t mind.
