  1. This is a great tutorial. I’ve been article marketing for a while and did not see the full loop you describe here. Going to add some of these steps into my correct campaigns.

Dawn, glad I could be helpful. Being involved with Content Caboodle I see a lot of article marketers under utilizing their efforts. There’s gold in them there hills, you just got to dig for it sometimes.

  3. Hi Scott,

This is indeed a great tutorial. Informative yet not boring. I had picked on some steps I can use and net ethics to take note. Thanks!

  4. Hi Scott,

The link power tutorial was great, though it will probably take a lot of work having to publish 1 article, to bookmark it, and then rss submit it.. But I think it will work, passing on link juice from one article to your pages.

    Nice work!

Thanks for the comments folks, yes there’s a little work involved in bookmarking your articles, author profiles and then submitting your RSS feeds to the proper directories…but anything you do online that’s going to have lasting value for you will take some work. There really aren’t any “instant” tactics or methods that will provide you long-term benefits.

If something is too quick and easy to do it gets taken advantage of quickly online, and that ultimately leads to it losing value as a method.

You can make things a little easier for yourself using tools, like I pointed out the bookmarking widget available on Content Caboodle, but you could also join a service like OnlyWire or SocialMarker that lets you submit to all of the bookmarking sites you belong to in seconds. That speeds up the process a little for you.

With the feed submissions, like I said there are some tools out there that can mass-submit for you, I’ve just never found any that worked well enough for me to promote them by name here.

In fact, I was so frustrated looking for one that I ended up creating my own program to do the job. Unfortunately, I embedded some other functions into it that I also wanted for my business and because of those I’m not able to share the program with others.

If I ever get a little free time I may go back and rewrite it with just the RSS submission functions and then I could release it here for people, but I’m not promising that any time soon just because I’ve got so much on my plate that I don’t know when I might get to it.

Thanks again for the comments, I’m glad my little video was helpful.

You know, I’m find it less powerful then it used to be back in the day using articles to generate traffic and back links.

In my opinion, I don’t even bother going past ezine, goarticles, article dashboard and idea marketers anymore.

Most articles sites are going down hill fast, more and more people are starting to use sites like hubpages and squidoo and at least then they can get a portion on the income that comes in from the articles.

  8. Good video about article and SEO. The best way is Social Bookmarking. You may get back links and visitors as well.Post one article at a site and use that page for social bookmarking. It will help you to get visitors and back links both.

  9. Caboodle is good point conveyed. Author earn more…! hammy. I see your profile scott. The tutorial is really very nice.
Yeap! its easy to find bookmarks, For this you have just put stumble it. And I have stumble this too. Back linking power is best way through bookmarks. Though RSS feed is good but most of them don’t go for it. But a great link to submit. Thanks a lot!

One of the most important factors in Search Engine Optimization is the number of incoming links to your website, the relevance of the website linking to you, the anchor text used for the link, and the page ranking of the webpage linking to you. We have tried it and have found it very useful to increase our page rank on google. We are a tender information portal, http://www.tradereader.com. We used tenders as our anchor text. We suggest any site to try and increase the backlinks.
