February 19, 2009 – This is so sad, seeing pups as innocent creatures only able to do what they’re told and trained to by their masters, this is punishing the victims for being victims.
February 19, 2009 – As a devoted fan of Eureka on Sci-Fi, I really want the smart home. Sarah, beer please…
February 19, 2009 – I just have to say that anyone selling tours with the “opportunity to kill” a warm blooded creature should have their pubic and underarm hair infested with the fleas of a thousand camels.
February 19, 2009 – I use Twitter mostly for “listening” to what folks I feel are much smarter than myself are talking about, and it can be such a time-suck, especially if you follow active people with lots to share. Good tips for dealing with that in this piece.
February 16, 2009 – Monitoring your brand, company and product/service images is essential to going forward if you do business online. How else will you know what needs improvement and what’s working? Good tools for this.
February 14, 2009 – Another great mashup, and kudos to the NYT for “getting it” and opening their API for developers to repackage information in new and exciting ways for consumption

February 14, 2009 – With nearly every news corp. cutting back and moaning over how the web and recent times are killing them financially, you’d think more would start to “get it” that their online outposts should be encouraging interactive relationships with readers… like opening up comments for discussions on columnists. Of course, while good for the bottom lines it might not be so nice for the egos behind trite and shallow pieces that offer no take-away value for readers beyond one person’s opinion. Then again, with RSS and Google’s ability to share stories with notes attached, I guess I don’t really miss the ability to comment at the actual news sites, and in-fact I can post what I want without ever having to actually visit the news sites or add impressions to their advertising stats. So forget what I’ve just written, I prefer it this way after all.
February 13, 2009 – Smart ideas for the online business owner/manager

Thanks especially for the article about the 3 powerful tools for monitoring your brand. I have been looking for something like those for a while now.
I’m glad you got something out of it. Brand and image monitoring/management are increasingly more vital for business as the web become more social.
Being able (and willing) to know what people are saying and respond to questions or concerns directly is going to determine who profits and who fails in the future.
